Bisentina Island The Gate of Agarthi

Agarthi is a legendary Kingdom located in the Inner Earth, closely connected to the hollow earth theory. According to this theory, beneath the surface of the earth there would be different concentric surfaces that could be inhabited or habitable. There are some places on the planet that are considered to be real GATES to the Kingdom of Agarthi, doors visible only to initiated and enlightened. These Gates to the Kingdom of Agarthi would be located at Earth’s Poles and all around the planet there would be tunnels that permit the entrance to the realm. If it accidentally happens to come across to one of the entrances and you were to go in, you would be lost permanently as there are endless labyrinths that pierce the subsoil, even in the remote chance to find a way out, you would not remember anything that you had seen or learned. Besides, access to Agarthi is impossible because its inhabitants, to avoid evil access, have prepared an impenetrable security, consisting of special vibrations that obscures the mental faculties and making the gates of the Kingdom invisible. Etruria as well could be a point of passage, a gate, a breakthrough toward something undefined and mysterious. It seems that one of these tunnels is on the Bisentina Island, on Bolsena Lake. The lake of Bolsena, Lacus Volsinii, is the largest volcanic origin lake in Europe and hosts two beautiful islands: the Martana and the Bisentina. The Etruscans considered the Bisentina Island a sacred place, the spiritual heart of the whole Etruscan nation and was the place where all their knowledge would be preserved at its best. The Etruscans had a very close relationship with the ‘magic’; they were studying and decoding it thanks to rules and principles drawn from disciplines some of them were numerology and astrology. The Etruscans believed in the existence of a divinity that would transmit strength and knowledge from underground. Their entire cult of the Earth is all about the understanding of the underworld in search of knowledge and the sacred power. Many researchers believe that on the island there was the mythical Fanum Voltumnae, the sanctuary of the Etruscan Federation devoted to the god Voltumna; every year, in spring, the Lucumoni, the heads of the Etruscan League would gather there. In this occasion the supreme leader of the Etruscan federation would be elected and religious ceremony take place. Historical Information refers to documents though that have conflicting perspectives about the physical location of the Fanum Voltumnae and many think it has been hidden by the etruscans clerics themselves, together with all its treasures. However, we know that the lake in general represented for the Etruscans the communication GATE with the dark and sacred underworld. The Bisentina island extends for 17 hectares and there is a small hill of 56 m. height called Mount Tabor, from the top of it you can enjoy a splendid panorama on the Bolsena Lake. In addition, you can find on the island seven chapels and the Malta dei Papa, a prison dug in the subsoil used for those sentenced for heresy. The presence of Christian chapels in a “heathen” sacred place should be further explored. We know that the cancellation of memory is very common in past and recent history. The Christian church built above pagan temples or sacred places to affirm its religious supremacy and eliminate the traces of the previous one. In a letter to San Giusto of Canterbury, Pope St. Gregory the Great (540-604 AC) writes “When you are with our brother Augustine, tell him that after long consideration and careful examination of the English question, I judged that you should not destroy the pagan temples, but only the idols in them. [ …]. Because all the ancient gods are demons”.
There is also the possibility that the ancient civilizations well knew the energies and used certain areas to settle their veneration places. From here, Christians choice not only to eradicate the presence of the so-called pagans’ beliefs but also to exploit or, sometimes, obstruct these strong and positive energies. These energetic sites are the spots that contribute to increase our perceptions, our prosperity, our metabolism, to get in direct contact with the unknown. The extreme care that our ancestors took to listen to the rhythm of the earth brought them not only to identify locations of energies, but also the places where it was unhealthy to live and work. Could the Bisentina Island had been chosen by the Etruscans for its energy? This is a private island and it is possible to visit it with the authorization of the owners, Giovanni del Drago and Angelica del Drago. However, you can circumnavigate the island by boat taking at Capodimonte port.
Close to Capodimonte there is a small promontory, called Monte Campi Bisenzio, overlooking the lake. In the Etruscan period, between the 8th and 6th century BC Campi Bisenzio was a very important urban center, the ruins can still be seen and is considered to be a very strong energetic location. At the very top of the promontory there is a cave with walls dug with hundreds of cells, the so called Colombarium (Dovecote, Pigeon coop), where, probably in ancient times, the cinerary urns of the deads were preserved.
